Pro Class Logo & Certification Mark Use
This guidance explains the difference between the Pro Class organisational logo and any certification mark or credential reference associated with a Pro Class professional certification. Use of either must accurately reflect the holder’s or organisation’s real relationship with Pro Class.
Using the PCC Logo
The Pro Class corporate logo identifies Pro Class Consultant Ltd. It is not, by itself, evidence that a person is professionally certified or that every activity of an organisation is approved by Pro Class.
Only official logo artwork supplied or approved by Pro Class should be used. Do not redraw, distort, crop, recolour or recreate the mark.
Where an approved centre is authorised to display the PCC logo, its own identity and its actual relationship with Pro Class must remain clear.
The logo must not be placed on unrelated services, courses, products or materials in a way that suggests Pro Class approval where none exists.
Do not merge the PCC logo with another logo or graphic to create a new badge, seal or joint identity unless Pro Class has expressly approved that use.
Using a Certification Mark or Credential Reference
A certification mark or written reference to Pro Class certification must relate only to the exact professional certification actually held and to its current credential status.
Use the correct certification title or approved designation. Do not imply broader competence, licensing or authority than the certification represents.
A certification should be presented as current only while the applicable Pro Class credential record remains valid under that certification scheme.
An individual certification must not be presented as if it certifies an employer, company, training centre, product or service.
A credential, certification mark or certification status belonging to one holder must not be transferred, shared or represented as belonging to another person.
Different Roles, Different Permissions
May refer to their own current Pro Class professional certification in the manner permitted by the applicable certification and mark-use rules.
May use Pro Class branding only within the scope authorised by their approved-centre status, agreement and official Pro Class guidance.
Must not use Pro Class logos or certification marks in a way that suggests an approved relationship unless Pro Class has actually granted one.
Acceptable & Unacceptable Use
Do
- ✓
Use the correct PCC name, logo or certification title.
- ✓
Keep certification claims limited to the actual credential held.
- ✓
Use official artwork without visual alteration.
- ✓
Stop or amend certification claims when the credential status changes.
Do not
- ×
Suggest Pro Class has accredited or approved something it has not.
- ×
Use a Pro Class mark on unrelated products, services or certificates.
- ×
Alter a Pro Class mark or create unofficial PCC badges.
- ×
Continue presenting a certification as active after it is no longer valid.
Expiry, Recertification & Status Changes
If a Pro Class professional certification expires, is suspended, revoked or otherwise ceases to be current, the holder must not continue to present it as an active certification. Successful recertification maintains the existing certification record rather than creating a duplicate active copy.
Where there is uncertainty about a Pro Class certification claim, the credential status recorded through Pro Class verification services is the authoritative public reference for whether that credential is current.
Official Artwork and Technical Specifications
Pro Class will provide authorised users with the applicable artwork and any technical brand specifications required for their permitted use. This public page does not invent fixed colour values, clear-space measurements, file formats or placement rules that have not yet been formally issued.
Misuse or Misleading Claims
Pro Class may require incorrect, unauthorised or misleading use of its name, logo, certification marks or credential references to be corrected or removed. Any formal review, evidence, appeal or enforcement process is governed by the applicable Pro Class agreement or policy.
